Who We Are

We are a community rooted in love, faith, and service, walking alongside our neighbors through shared meals, worship services, church gatherings, celebration, and ongoing support. At Agape Love, relationships come first—creating space for meaningful fellowship where trust is built, hope is restored, and transformation grows naturally through compassion, commitment, and care.

What Guides Us

Compassion in Action, Week after Week

We believe transformation happens through presence—by meeting people where they are and creating spaces rooted in dignity, hope, and belonging. Whether we are serving hot meals on Mondays, gathering for worship, celebrating birthdays, visiting nursing homes, or partnering with other ministries, our work is grounded in genuine connection and a commitment to long-term impact.

Our volunteers are the heart of everything we do. Together, we serve not only with our hands, but with our lives—sharing time, stories, faith, and encouragement. At Agape Love, service becomes relationship, and relationship becomes community.

Outreach ministries International: The Outreach Pipeline

A key feature of our success in helping individuals get off the streets, into recovery, and into safe, transitional living, is the interconnectedness of several ministries working seamlessly together. The core partners, under the umbrella of Outreach Ministries International, are Gravity Church, the Lodi Access Center, Agape Love and Second Step Living.

At any one of these points of access, people receive services in the form of new clothes, meals, food boxes, temporary shelter, social services, medical assistance, legal help, housing assistance and more, all in an atmosphere of compassion, competency, and commitment.

Some come to Gravity Church or the Lodi Access Center cold off the streets, get introduced to Agape Love on Mondays, and begin serving as a volunteer. They start coming to church. From there they start attending the extracurricular events: men’s or women’s events, Bible studies, recovery meetings, nursing home visitation, Agape birthday parties, etc. They eventually find work and housing, being firmly fitted into a healthy and stable way of life with others

Gathering With Intention

Meeting Neighbors, Changing Lives

Agape Love community outreach is more than a free meal—it is a time to sit, share a meal, and build genuine relationships with our neighbors. Through weekly community meals, homeless outreach, and intentional conversation, we listen, learn, and walk alongside people as they take steps toward stability. These moments of connection often become pathways out of homelessness, joblessness, and addiction, helping individuals reconnect with family, purpose, and the broader community.

In partnership with Lodi Access Center and Second Step Living—organizations with whom we often serve shared clients—an overall total of 122 people have been helped into housing, 63 placed into supportive programs, and 56 individuals have found employment.
